Jerry earned his B.S. in Family Consumer Science with a concentration in Fashion Retailing and Merchandising from Lamar University. He later went on to study Fashion Merchandising and Communications abroad at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France. Jerry also earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Service Management and Marketing from Lamar University. His years of experience in the industry includes working for top brands from boutique to big-box retailers. He has worked in many different facets of the industry, from PR to Creative Direction. Jerry is now an Executive Level Member of Fashion Group International and served as former Regional Director. Jerry has shared his knowledge and expertise with aspiring industry professionals as an Adjunct Professor at the Art Institute continuing to be a guest speaker at various colleges and universities. Jerry has taken all of his experience throughout the years and launched his own marketing firm called Mathis Management Group where he serves as current President of the company.
